Custom Alarm was recognized by Honeywell International, Inc. with two distinguishing awards at the Honeywell CONNECT 2017 Conference held in San Diego, California.
The awards were distributed at the annual Awards Gala concluding the conference which recognizes the success of dealers in the security industry. The first award Custom Alarm received was the Community Service Award in recognition of the philanthropic efforts with Rochester and the surrounding communities they serve. Custom Alarm participates in many community service efforts each year including National Night Out, Fire Prevention Week, United Way, Adopt-A-Family, Litter-Bit-Better and more throughout the year.

In addition, Custom Alarm received the prestigious Residential Installation of the Year Award 2017. This award was given to only two companies out of over 200 this year. The award recognizes a residential installation with several integrated components, making the installation increasingly more challenging.
“I am very proud of the entire team and the work they did to meet the customer’s unique needs and challenging installation,” says Brinkman. “We integrated home automation such as lighting and locks, IP wireless cameras, and remote viewing and controlling of the whole system. Our team found creative ways to complete the installation giving the customer all the convenience and security they wanted.”
