What to expect from Custom Alarm

We do not offer a one size fits all solution. Instead, we come out to your home and do an evaluation of your security needs. We will design a system based on the needs of the home and your primary areas of concern. Our installers will then install the system and train you on how to operate it. Our Central Monitoring Station will then monitor your security system right from our office in Rochester.

The same company who installed your system will also be monitoring and servicing it. What does that mean for you? It means you make one phone call for assistance, for additional training, to add or remove a user from your call list, or to add additional devices to your system. It means the company who monitors it knows the person who installed it – we all share information and work together to serve you better and provide your loved ones with peace of mind.

What can a complete system do for your home?

Did you know security systems do more than deter burglars? They can also detect smoke, heat, carbon monoxide, freezing temperatures and rising water levels. We can also monitor for medical emergencies.

Medical Emergency Notification

We offer panic devices that people with medical conditions, or the aging population, can wear to alert our Central Monitoring Station if they need medical assistance. These devices provide independence for the user and peace of mind for their family members. If you have a parent, grandparent, or friend who would like to continue to live independently but you are concerned about them being alone, this may be the perfect solution for you. While they are at home they can wear a device around their neck or on their wrist and if they need assistance they can push the button for one-on-one communication with our Central Monitoring Station. Our Central Monitoring Station will then notify the contact people and the authorities as necessary. The system can also be set up with devices that can monitor when no activity has been reported via a door contact or motion detector. If your loved one should be up and moving around by a certain time and there is no movement detected we will be notified so we can send someone to check on them. We provide protection for families and homes and pride ourselves on getting to know our customers and taking care of them like family.
